Features/Functions

The MCR-H720 is ideal for reading 2D symbols directly on printed circuit boards and glass surfaces. This high-resolution model is even more specialised than the conventional MCR-H700 for reading very small marks.

Ideal for reading 2D symbols marked directly on printed circuit boards and glass surfaces. It can handle even smaller marks than conventional machines.

Lowest resolution 40 μm (0.04 mm)

*Up to 25 μm is possible with the use of attachments (sold separately).

Easy reading settings with button operation on the main unit

One-push automatic adjustment with function button

Easy to set up with intelligent automatic tuning function (※1) and Easy Setup software. The system frees you from the tedious tuning work inherent in direct marking.

※1. The MCR-H720 selects the appropriate process from the preset data. It meets the need for immediate use, with only button operation on the main unit.

Wide-view window for easy aiming

The large reading window makes it easy to aim and read small 2D symbols that were difficult to aim at due to their being hidden behind the reader. Designed with rubber cushions for shock resistance.

Easy-to-read configuration tool allows anyone to make the optimum settings

You can easily find the optimum settings by selecting the illumination and image processing while viewing the read image in real time.
The Table Mode function allows you to set up reading settings for a wide range of materials, so that in most cases you can read without having to make any settings.

Equipped with PLC link function (RS-232C model)

If the barcode data write memory address in the PLC is set in the scanner, the read barcode data is automatically written to the designated memory The programming of the PLC is only the memory monitoring logic, which is usually familiar to the designer. Of course, the read/write data is also handshaked using the PLC memory.

Wireless (Bluetooth) models

Reading results can be transmitted wirelessly (via Bluetooth communication) to the host PC, reducing reading range limitations and improving operability.

The Dedicated Bluetooth receiver MBA-300 is available in USB, RS-232C and Ethernet models.

Maximum Bluetooth range (reference values): Approx. 10 m in line of sight.
